From the Orlando area:
Drive West on Interstate 4 from Orlando. Exit #55 at US Hwy 27 (Haines City exit). Go South on US Hwy 27 about 18 miles through Haines City and Dundee. Turn left (East) at Chalet Suzanne Road. The Eagle Ridge Mall is on the South East corner of the intersection. Go 1 1/2 miles then turn right onto Chalet Suzanne Drive. Drive time about 45 minutes.
 From Orlando International Airport:
Take the South Exit from the terminal about 3 miles to the Central Florida Greenway/FL-417 South (a toll road). After 16 miles merge onto I-4 West and proceed another 9 miles. Take Exit # 55 at US Hwy 27 (Haines City exit). Go South on US Hwy 27 about 18 miles through Haines City and Dundee. Turn left (East) at Chalet Suzanne Road. The Eagle Ridge Mall is on the South East corner of the intersection. Go 1 1/2 miles then turn right onto Chalet Suzanne Drive. Drive time about 55 minutes.
From the Tampa area:
Guests have two options:
Take State Highway 60 East to Lake Wales. Then exit onto US Hwy 27 North and go four miles. Turn right onto Chalet Suzanne Road. Go 1 1/2 miles then turn right onto Chalet Suzanne Drive. Drive time about 1 1/2 hours.
Guests choosing to take Interstate 4 from Tampa can take Exit #55, US Hwy 27 (Haines City exit). Go South on US Hwy 27 about 18 miles. Turn left (east) at Chalet Suzanne Road. The Eagle Ridge Mall is on the South East corner of the intersection. Go 1 1/2 miles then turn right onto Chalet Suzanne Drive. Drive time about 1 1/2 hours.

Check-in time is 3pm but may be later during holidays or peak periods. Check-out time is noon.

What is your cancellation policy?
Should there be any change to your travel plans, please contact us at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival to cancel or reschedule without penalty. Cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival may receive a date change but will incur a $25.00 per day rebooking fee. Within this 14 day period, the deposit will be forfeited if the reservation is cancelled and not rebooked.

 What is there to do at Chalet Suzanne?
We offer volleyball, horseshoes, bird-watching, shopping at the gift shop and ceramic shop, swimming and fishing. We have a small row boat guests can use on our small Lake Suzanne. We also have 70 acres for walking, cycling and jogging. You can visit our History House museum, tour our Soup Cannery, or experience the tranquility of our new Butterfly Bower. Enjoy free sunrises and spectacular sunsets daily.

 What are your room rates?
We have 30 guestrooms which are all delightfully unique. Rates range from $169 to $229 per double occupancy and includes a full breakfast and gratuity. Rooms include private bath, air conditioning, telephone, color TV and other amenities. Some rooms offer jet tubs.
Each additional person in the room is $12 per night.
Cribs are available for $10 per night.

 How much would an unforgettable evening of fine dining cost?
A six course unforgettable dinner for two with a medium priced wine will cost around Two hundred and fifty dollars depending on choice of wine. Dinner prices range from Fifty-Nine to Seventy-Nine dollars per person plus tax and gratuity. Plan to stay awhile and enjoy the meal. This enchanting six course meal usually takes about two hours to serve.
Children under 12 can enjoy fine dining too with a choice of Chicken Suzanne or Baked Sugar Cured Ham for Nineteen dollars.
Four course lunch prices range from Twenty-Nine to Forty-Six dollars plus tax and gratuity. We also offer a Soup and Sandwich for Nineteen dollars. Plan on spending an hour to an hour and a half for a relaxing lunch at the Chalet.
Our children's lunch menu offers our famous Chicken Suzanne or Baked Sugar Cured Ham for Fourteen dollars.

What is the dress code for the restaurant?
For breakfast and lunch our guests usually dress casually. In the evening, dinner is a special occasion for many guests and we suggest that men wear a jacket. Ties are optional.

Anyone is welcome to visit the Chalet Suzanne whether or not they are a guest of the restaurant or an overnight guest.
Please feel free to come and visit anytime. If you will check in at the reception office, the receptionist will give you a list of open rooms you may peek into. If you don't have time for a full meal, we offer a lighter fare in our Little Swedish Bar in the restaurant or just enjoy a cool drink.
The Soup Cannery is available for tours with advance notice. Call 1-800-433-6011.
The Ceramic Studio is open everyday. Our talented artists are here everyday except Sunday, crafting our dining room dishes in the studio. You are welcome to watch, ask questions, purchase gifts and discuss special orders.
The gift shop has handmade items from around the world, and is certainly worth a visit!

Can I fly to the Chalet Suzanne?
Yes you can fly to the Chalet Suzanne. We have a lighted, sod airstrip with runways 18-36. Unicom frequency is 122.8.

 Can I get married at Chalet Suzanne?
Chalet Suzanne has been named one of the Most Romantic Places to Stay in Florida by a national bride's magazine. We offer three venues for weddings, our romantic Wedding Garden with the autographed tile wall, our gazebo overlooking Lake Suzanne and in the dining room, the enchanting Swiss Room complemented with stained glass windows.  How do I have a tile put on the Autograph Garden Wall?
On your next visit please consider designing your own ceramic tile at the Ceramic Studio, they will help with the design if you wish. Most guests autograph their tile and add the date with a romantic thought or two. The tile will be glazed and later permanently placed in the Autograph Garden Wall for you to see on your next visit.
$60 per tile.
